CDOIQ Symposium comes to San Diego, USA

In 2026, the #CDOIQ will bring the globally renowned Chief Data Officer & Information Quality Symposium (CDOIQ) previously hosted at MIT to San Diego for the first time, in cooperation with UC San Diego Supercomputer Center. The symposium will be hosted at TBD, as an in-person event. The CDOIQ Symposium has established itself as one of the most important data events in the world to exchange innovative ideas, best practices and to promote the adoption of the CDO role.

The Inaugural CDOIQ-West Symposium will provide a platform for data leaders from academia, government, and industry to collaborate on hot topics on data and share ideas on data-driven value creation and innovation. Targeted at Chief Data Officers, Chief Analytics Officers and Heads of Data & Analytics, this symposium is organized into three parallel tracks: Data Strategy and Management, Analytics and AI Value Creation, and Data Ecosystems and Platforms. The Symposium includes but not limited to, plenary keynote speech, panel, thought leadership, case studies, policies and strategies, prioritizations and alignment, and innovative research results. Vendor booths will also be a key highlight of the symposium.

We look forward to the intimate, one-day gathering to share and gain expert knowledge on TBD of January 2026. Sustainable business value can be created with data only when organizations are data literate, and silos are broken down.

This expansion marks the beginning of a journey of growth with three purposes:
ENGAGEMENT

Bringing together the CDO community at a hybrid event that addresses the data professional’s impact on business outcomes.

NETWORKING

Global CDO’s and Data Leaders share and exchange cutting-edge ideas, content and discussions.

EXPANSION

Strengthen the role of CDO as well as organizations focused on data and technology.
